Ellis Johnson College coach

Ellis Johnson (born December 23, 1951) is an American football coach and former player. He was the defensive coordinator at Auburn University. He served as head football coach at Gardner–Webb University in 1983, The Citadel from 2001 to 2003, and the University of Southern Mississippi in 2012, compiling a career college football record of 17 wins and 40 losses.
