Elmer McDevitt College coach

Elmer William McDevitt (December 9, 1887 – May 4, 1940) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Northwestern University from 1920 to 1921 and at the University of Denver from 1923 to 1924, compiling a career college football record of 14–15–2. McDevitt's coaching record at Northwestern was 4–10. This ranks him20th at Northwestern in total wins and 21st at Northwestern in winning percentage.
