Ernesto Goñi (born 13 January 1985 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan footballer who currently plays for Estudiantes de la Plata as a left back. His nickname is "Teto", an abbreviation of his name.On August, 2005, he went to prove luck in the Sambenedettese Calcio of Italy but this didn't prospect.He had his debut in Uruguayan First Division on 2009 in Racing Club de Montevideo.He is very popular in Uruguay because of his long throw-in ability. He is also a very tall player for his position, and he has excellent accuracy in his long passes into the area.
