Eugen Garski Military person

Eugen Garski (8 June 1897 – 30 September 1942) was a decorated officer in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Eugen Garski was killed on 30 September 1942, near Kostonossovo, Russia. He was posthumously promoted to Generalmajor.
