Fred Evans Boxer
Fred Evans is a Welsh amateur boxer fighting in the 69 kg Welterweight category. He won gold at the 2011 European Amateur Boxing Championships in Ankara and had previously won gold at the 2007 World Cadet Championships in Hungary. He is ranked 6 in the world at 69kg and became the first Welsh boxer to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games at 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan.
