Friedrich Koch Military person

Friedrich Koch (15 January 1879 – 3 November 1961) was a highly decorated General der Infanterie in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded the XXXXIV corps. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
