Galina Rodionovna Lukashenko (Belarusian: Галіна Радзівонаўна Лукашэнка, Russian: Галина Родионовна Лукашенко, Polish: Halina Radyjonauna Łukaszenka), née Zhelnerovich (Belarusian: Жаўняровіч, Russian: Желнерович, Polish: Żolnierowicz), (born 1 January 1955) is the First Lady of the current Belarusian President, Alexander Lukashenko. Lukashenko married Zhelnerovich, his high school sweetheart, in 1975. Later that year their oldest son, Viktor, was born. Their second son, Dmitry, was born in 1980. Viktor is a 'national security aide' of his father; but Alexander has dismissed him in public as "a useless weakling who will soon become even weaker".Galina lives separately in the family's house in the village near Shklov.
