Gamini Hettiarachchi is a famous Sri Lankan Film, Stage and Tele Drama Actor.He entered stage drama by acting in Somalatha Subasinghe directed Professor Ediriweera Sarachchandra's Raththaran stage drama at Nalanda College Colombo. Popular film and stage actress Somalatha Subasinghe was a teacher at Nalanda in mid 70s.He was educated at Nalanda College Colombo. Popular baila singer Saman De Silva was one of his notable classmates at Nalanda.Also as a school boy he acted in Dhamma Jagoda's play Vesmuhunu. Gamini's latest film is Udayakantha Warnasuriya's Kosthapal Punyasoma (Constable Punyasoma).His daughter is Prathibha Hettiarachchi who is an upcoming actress.
