George M. Dallas Politician

George Mifflin Dallas (July 10, 1792 – December 31, 1864) was a U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania (1831–1833) and the 11th Vice President of the United States (1845–1849), serving under President James K. Polk. Dallas also served as the Mayor of Philadelphia from 1828–1829.
