Francis Gerard "Gerry" McElhinney (Irish: Gearóid Mac Giolla Chainnigh; born 19 September 1956) is an Irish former sportsman who played Gaelic football, soccer and was also a boxer.He played Gaelic football for Derry and won two Ulster Senior Football Championships with the county. He also won an All Star Award for his performances in the 1975 All-Ireland Championship. He played club football for St. Mary's Banagher.
