Gregg Jefferies Baseball player

Gregory Scott "Gregg" Jefferies (born August 1, 1967 in Burlingame, California) is a retired infielder/outfielder in Major League Baseball who had a 14-year career from 1987 to 2000. He was a highly touted prospect who was the 1985 Major League Baseball Draft number one overall selection who became a two-time (1986 & 1987) Baseball America Minor League Player of the Year. He went on to become a two-time All-Star.
