Gustav Ritter von Kahr Politician
Gustav Ritter von Kahr (November 29, 1862 – June 30, 1934) was a German right-wing politician, active in the state of Bavaria. He was instrumental in the collapse and suppression of Adolf Hitler's Beer Hall Putsch in 1923, and for those actions was brutally murdered more than ten years later in the Night of the Long Knives.
