Heidi Schmid Athlete
Adelheid "Heidi" Schmid (born 5 December 1938 in Klagenfurt) is a former German fencer, world champion and Olympic champion in foil competition. She received a gold medal in individual foil at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. She received a bronze medal in the team foil event in 1964. She also competed at the 1968 Summer Olympics.
