Heinrich Praßdorf Military person
Heinrich "Heinz" Praßdorff (7 December 1918 – 8 November 2000) was a German U-boat machinist in World War II and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (German: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. He was born and died in Rostock.
