Hemen Majumdar Artist

Hemendra Majumdar was an Indian painter. His popular painting is Lady with Lamp, depicting loneliness of a woman (Not to be confused with Woman With the Lamp by another famous Indian painter Sawlaram Haldankar). In 2002, there was a huge uproar when his painting was stolen and found with an art dealer.
