Henry Rayhons Politician
Henry V. Rayhons (born August 5, 1936) is the Iowa State Representative from the 8th District. A Republican, he has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 1997, representing the 16th District from 1997 to 2003 and the 11th District from 2003 to 2013. In 2014, Rayhons announced he would not seek reelection to another term.As of January 2013, Rayhons serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Local Government, Public Safety, and Transportation Affairs committees. He also serves as chair of the Natural Resources committee.
