Herb Haygood American football player

Herbert Donta "Herb" Haygood (born December 30, 1977 in Sarasota, Florida) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the fifth round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He spent the 2006 season with the Battle Creek Crunch of the Great Lakes Indoor Football League. He played college football for the Michigan State Spartans. Haygood spent time coaching wide receivers at Miami University from 2011-2012. He was the Associate Director of Player Personnel at Indiana University. He is currently the wide receivers coach at Eastern Michigan University.
