Ian Matthew Fitzpatrick (born 22 September 1980) in Manchester, England, is a retired English professional footballer who played as a striker for Halifax Town and Shrewsbury Town in the Football League.F.A. National School Graduate, E.S.F.A, England U15-U18 (18 Caps).Ian appeared on the T.V Show The World at Their Feet in 1996 which charted the trials and tribulations of players going through the F.A National School selection process.He is the younger brother of former Hartlepool United midfielder Lee Fitzpatrick.Ian now co-owns the international soccer academy, World at Your Feet (www.wayfsoccer.com), which aims to provide children of all ages and ability with academy style coaching and pathway opportunities into professional clubs.
