Ian M Narev is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Commonwealth Bank Group commencing these roles on 1 December 2011.Narev holds graduate degrees from Cambridge University and New York University, and undergraduate degrees from the University of Auckland.He is also an Ambassador of the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation
