Igor Milanović Athlete

Igor Milanović (Игор Милановић) is a retired Serbian water polo player. With a pro career spanning twenty years he is considered by many to be the best water polo player of all-time. In his illustrious career he played 349 games for the Yugoslav national team, scoring 540 goals. His collection of trophies is equally impressive: 2-time Olympic gold medalist, 2-time World Championship winner, European Championship winner, and 2-time FINA Cup winner. On 13 May 2006, he was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale. In June 2009, Milanović was named as head coach of Partizan Raiffeisen after Dejan Udovičić stepped down. He has won four Euroleague Championships, three as a player and the last one in 2011 as a head coach of Partizan Raiffeisen.
