Igor Smirnov Politician

Igor Nikolaevich Smirnov (Russian: И́горь Никола́евич Смирно́в, tr. Igorʹ Nikolayevich Smirnov; born October 23, 1941) is a Transnistrian politician, the first president (1991–2011) of the internationally unrecognized Eastern-European country Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic.
