Ion Stoica Scientist
Ion Stoica is a Romanian-American computer scientist specializing in distributed systems, cloud computing and computer networking. He is currently a professor of computer science at the University of California Berkeley, co-director of AMPLab. In 2006, he co-founded Conviva, a startup to commercialize technologies for large scale video distribution. Professor Stoica is also an ACM Fellow.
