James Anthony "J. A." Happ (born October 19, 1982) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has played in MLB for the Philadelphia Phillies, Houston Astros, and Toronto Blue Jays.Though his name is James Anthony and his initials are "J. A.", he pronounces his name as "Jay". He is 6 feet 5 inches (1.96 m) tall and weighs 205 pounds (93 kg).
