Jack Cecil Collins Australian rules football player

Jack Cecil Collins (9 May 1925 - 4 January 1998) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy and Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL).Collins, who was recruited locally to Fitzroy, kicked seven goals in a game against St Kilda at Brunswick Street in his debut season.He finished his career with a premiership at Essendon in 1950, where he played on the wing in the Grand Final win.His sons Daryl and Denis both played in the VFL during the 1970s.
