Jack de Gier Football player

Jack de Gier (born August 6, 1968 in Schijndel, Noord-Brabant) is a retired football striker from the Netherlands, who made his professional debut in the 1988/89 season for BVV Den Bosch.He was nicknamed Il Butre (The Vulture), after legendary Spain striker Emilio Butragueño. De Gier means The Vulture in Dutch. He scored the very last goal in Ajax Amsterdam's old stadium "De Meer" (for Willem II Tilburg, April 28, 1996).
