Jack Dongarra Scientist

Jack J. Dongarra (born July 18, 1950) is an American University Distinguished Professor of Computer Sciencein the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the University of Tennessee. He holdsthe position of a Distinguished Research Staff member in the Computer Scienceand Mathematics Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and is anAdjunct Professor in the Computer Science Department at Rice University. Dongarra holds the Turing Fellowship in the schools of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Manchester. He is the founding director of Innovative Computing Laboratory.
