Jack Miller Rugby player

John "Jack" 'Cod' Miller (born 10 August 1906 in Newton-le-Willows — death unknown) was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s, '30s and '40s playing at representative level for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Warrington, as a Prop, or Second-row, i.e. number 8 or 10, 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums. Over his 20 year career he made 526 appearances for Warrington, a club record which was not broken until 1959 by Brian Bevan.
