Jacob P. Leese

Jacob Primer Leese (August 19, 1809, St. Clairsville, Ohio - February 1, 1892, San Francisco, California) was a San Francisco pioneer, the second permanent resident of Yerba Buena (now San Francisco), and builder of the first permanent house there. He married General Vallejo’s sister, moved to Sonoma, and acquired extensive land holdings.
