Jake Hancock Scientist

Professor John Michael Hancock (1928–2004), known throughout the geological community as Jake, will be fondly remembered as a student of the Cretaceous, of the sedimentary and mineralogical character of the Chalk, as a world stratigrapher, as a bon viveur and an amiable, jovial, moustachioed eccentric.
