Jerry Sands Baseball player
Gerald Robert "Jerry" Sands, (born September 28, 1987) is an American professional baseball outfielder and first baseman in the Cleveland Indians organization. He was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 25th round of the 2008 MLB Draft out of Catawba College. Sands grew up in Smithfield, North Carolina and is a graduate of Smithfield-Selma High School.
