Joe Santilli Ice hockey player
Joe Santilli (Ice Hockey) (born July 9, 1982 Westwood), was an American professional Ice hockey forward. He was a standout star at Northeastern University from 2002-2007. Joe was a medical red shirt his sophomore year after undergoing multiple hip operations. Joe returned to play the following year and was one of Northeastern's top offensive players for his remaining three years. Joe played his professional hockey for the Wheeling Nailers of the Pittsburgh Penguins organization. After his professional career was shortened due to hip problems, Joe returned to Northeastern University as an assistant coach in 2007-2008.
