John Leslie Hardie Military person

Major General John Leslie Hardie DSO, OBE (20 March 1882 – 21 July 1956) was an Australian general who served during World War I and World War II. As a brigade major, Hardie earned the Distinguished Service Order and was later appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire for his services as a deputy assistant adjutant general.
