John Nasasira
John Nasasira is a Ugandan engineer and politician. He is the current Minister of Information and Communication Technology in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 23 May 2013, replaced Ruhakana Rugunda, who was appointed Minister of Health. Prior to that, he served as the Minister of Works & Transportation, from 1996 until 2011. He is also the elected Member of Parliament (MP), representing "Kazo County", Kiruhura District, a position he has occupied continuously since 1989.
