John R. Hargrove Sr. Judge

John R. Hargrove, Sr. (born October 25, 1923) was the first African American to be appointed assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland and was later appointed by President Ronald Reagan to the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
