Jonathan Denis Politician

Jonathan Brian Denis, MLA QC (born September 22, 1976 in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian politician. On May 9, 2012, he was named Solicitor General, Attorney General, and Minister of Justice for the province of Alberta. He represents the constituency of Calgary-Acadia (formerly Calgary-Egmont) as a Progressive Conservative in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. He is of German descent.He was first elected in the 2008 provincial election and was appointed to cabinet in January 2010, making him the second youngest person to be named to cabinet in Alberta history.
