Joop Atsma Politician

Johannes Jan "Joop" Atsma (born July 6, 1956) is a former Dutch politician of the Christian Democratic Appeal party (CDA). He was the State Secretary for Infrastructure and the Environment in the first Rutte cabinet, serving from October 14, 2010 to November 5, 2012. He previously served as a Member of the House of Representatives from May 19, 1998 until October 14, 2010.
