José Horacio Gómez Cleric
José Horacio Gómez, S.T.D. (born December 26, 1951) is a Mexican-born prelate of the Catholic Church (Roman Rite) in the United States. He has been the Archbishop of Los Angeles since March 1, 2011. He previously served as Auxiliary Bishop of Denver from 2001–2004 and as Archbishop of San Antonio from 2004–2010.His episcopal motto is "Adeamus cum fiducia ad thronum gratiae," meaning "Let us confidently approach the throne of grace" (Hebrews 4:16).
