Joseph Yam Politician
The Honourable Joseph YAM Chi-kwong, GBM, GBS, CBE, JP (born 1948, Hong Kong)) is a Hong Kong statistician, economist and civil servant. Yam was the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) from April 1993 to 1 October 2009. Since 2011 Mr Yam has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Bank UBS AG.
