Karl von Oven Military person

Karl von Oven (29 November 1888 – 20 January 1974) was a highly decorated General der Infanterie in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded several corps. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Crosswas awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
