Kate Allan Writer

Kate Allan (born 1975) is British historical romance novelist. Allan was educated at the all-girls' Bedford High School and Repton School where she was a contemporary of actors Tom Chambers and Nicholas Burns. In 1997 she graduated from the University of York with a BA in history. She is member of the Romantic Novelists Association, the Historical Novels Society, the Society of Authors, and Verulam Writers' Circle. She was shortlisted for the 2005 Joan Hessayon New Writers Award. She is co-author of The Lady Soldier by Jennifer Lindsay.
