Khozh-Akhmed Bersanov Writer
Khozh-Akhmed Bersanov (Chechen: Берсан КIант Хож-Ахьмад; born April 12, 1926 in Shami-Yurt, Chechnya) is a famous Chechen ethnographer and author noted for his efforts to preserve Chechen culture throughout the 20th century. Bersanov served as the head of the Chechen-Ingush Ministry of Culture for nearly forty years, and his prolific writings edified moral responsibility and ethics in Chechen culture.
