Khudadad Khan Military person

Khudadad Khan, VC (20 October 1888 – 8 March 1971) born in Chakwal in what is now Pakistan, was the first South Asian recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest military award for gallantry in the face of the enemy given to British and Commonwealth forces.On 31 October 1914, at Hollebeke, Belgium, 26-year old Khan performed an act of bravery for which he was awarded the Victoria Cross during the First World War.A statue of Khudadad Khan is at the entrance of the Pakistan Army Museum in Rawalpindi.
