Kiko Garcia Baseball player

Alfonso Rafael "Kiko" Garcia (October 14, 1953 in Martinez, California) is a former Major League Baseball infielder. He played ten seasons in the major leagues from 1976 until 1985. Garcia, who is of Mexican American descent, played for the Baltimore Orioles, Houston Astros, and Philadelphia Phillies.Garcia was primarily a shortstop, playing 459 of his 619 career games there, but he also spent time as a second baseman (120 games) and third baseman (51 games). He was the starting shortstop for the American League champion Orioles in 1979.In the late 1980s he operated a batting cage business in Pleasanton, California, on the grounds of the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Garcia is the president and a coach with the KG Hitters girls fastpitch organization in Northern California.
