Kiko Martínez Boxer

Francisco Martinez Sanchez commonly known as Kiko Martinez (born 1984) is a Spanish professional boxer and a former IBF Super Bantamweight world champion. From April 15, 2011 he was the EBU Super Bantamweight champion for the third time in his career until being stopped in the ninth round by Carl Frampton on February 9th, 2013. This was Martinez's first knockout defeat in his career. On August 17th, 2013, Martínez won the IBF Super Bantamweight world title defeating Jonatan Romero. He retained the title against Jeffrey Mathebula and Hozumi Hasegawa before losing the belt to Frampton on September 6th, 2014.
