Kurt Becker American football player

Kurt Frank Becker (born December 22, 1958) is a former professional American football player who played guard for nine seasons for the Chicago Bears and the Los Angeles Rams. An offensive guard at the University of Michigan, Becker started in 36 consecutive games. He was selected to the All Big Ten team twice and, in the 1981 season (his senior year), he was named to the All-America first team. That year, he was also Michigan's co-captain, and was a Lombardi Award finalist. The Bears selected Becker in the 1982 NFL Draft with the 146th pick in the sixth round. As of 2010, he is the associate head coach for Marmion Academy, a college-prep academy in Aurora. On March 15, 2012, Becker was named Head Coach for East Aurora Tomcat football program.
