Lar Corbett Gaelic games player

Lar Corbett (born 16 March 1981) is an Irish hurler who plays as a left corner-forward for the Tipperary senior team.Corbett joined the team during the 2001 championship and became a regular player until his retirement at the end of the 2011 championship. In May 2012 Corbett announced that he would be returning to the Tipperary hurling panel. During that time he won two All-Ireland winners' medals, four Munster winners' medals, two National League winners' medals and three All Star Awards.At club level Corbett continues to play with and is a three-time county club championship winners' medalist with Thurles Sarsfields. Corbett released his autobiography called Lar Corbett – All in My Head in October 2012. In 2013, national media reported that Corbett had won a €10.6 million jackpot from the National Lottery; Lar claimed on his Twitter account that "it is not TRUE".
