Leopold Horner Scientist

Leopold Horner (August 24, 1911 – October 5, 2005) was a German chemist and published in a modified Wittig reaction using phosphonate-stabilized carbanions now called the Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons reaction or HWE reaction or Horner-Wittig reaction.
