Linda Reid Politician

Linda Reid is a Canadian politician. She serves as Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. She was first elected in 1991 to represent the riding of Richmond East and was re-elected in 1996, 2001, 2005, 2009, 2013. Reid served as Minister of State for Childcare from June 2005 to June 2009 and the Minister of State for Early Childhood Development from June 2001 to June 2005. She also served as the Deputy Speaker from 2009 until 2013.
