Luis Gautier Politician

Luis Gautier (ca. 1850 - ca. 1920) was Mayor of Ponce, Puerto Rico from 1897 to June 1898.Luis Gautier was appointed mayor of Ponce after the previous mayor in office, Mayor Miguel Rosich y Mass, was deposed of his position due to negligence. He was mayor until 20 June 1898. Gautier was one of the signers of the Plan de Ponce.
