Marco Parolo (Italian pronunciation: [ˈmarko paˈrɔlo]; born 25 January 1985) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a centre midfielder for Serie A club Lazio and the Italian national team. An offensive-minded player, Parolo is known for his tendency to make attacking runs, and also possesses a keen eye for goal due to his powerful, accurate shooting ability from distance, with either foot.
